The City of Fenton’s general municipal election will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
On the ballot this year for all voters of the City of Fenton will be Proposition U.
A simple majority is required to pass the measure. The official ballot language is:
“Shall the City of Fenton, Missouri, impose a local use tax at the same rate as the total local sales tax rate, provided that if the local sales tax rate is reduced or raised by voter approval, the local use tax rate shall also be reduced or raised by the same action?”

Also on the ballot are four aldermanic seats, one for each of the City’s four wards each for a two-year term. The following candidates have filed for office:
- Ward 1 – Ralph Edward Cruts
- Ward 2 – Joe Maurath
- Ward 3 – Robin Huels
- Ward 4 – Scott Maserang
