City Administrator
City of Fenton, MO (4,022 population) is seeking applicants from qualifies persons for the position of City Administrator, who serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the City.  Fenton is a 4th class City in St. Louis County with an annual budget of $19 million and approximately 40 full time employees.  Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or related field, however a Master’s degree is preferred.  Applicants should have at least five years of experience in a municipal government, with two years practical experience in the field of Public Administration.  Applicants must also have a proven record of strong interpersonal skills, financial planning, contract compliance, and human resources.   Salary to be determined based on qualifications and experience.  Interested applicants should send a resume, cover letter and references, along with a salary history to: City of Fenton, Missouri, Attn: Morgan Kuepfert, 625 New Smizer Mill Road, Fenton, MO 63026.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.


Building/Grounds Maintenance Worker
Performs manual routine work in all phases of building cleaning operations including vacuuming, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, replacing cleaning and custodial supplies, cleaning windows and doors (inside and outside), removing snow, occasionally landscaping, replacing light bulbs, painting interior and exterior surfaces, and other building maintenance activities as required. Receives daily functional supervision from Building/Grounds Technician; receives administrative supervision from Building Operations Supervisor.
Pay Scale:
$13.87(Entry) - $16.76(Mid) - $19.63 (Max)

?Maintenance Worker I
Responsible for performing semi-skilled maintenance and construction of City infrastructure, recreational facilities, park grounds, buildings, vehicles, equipment, and related items.  Assists skilled Maintenance Workers in infrastructure repairs, replacement of concrete, asphalt, storm line and drainage systems, signage, and traffic signals and markings.  Receives daily functional supervision from skilled Maintenance Workers; receives administrative supervision from the Director of Public Works and/or designee. 
Pay Scale: 
$15.08(Entry) - $18.58(Mid) - $22.09(Max)

Parks and Recreation

Recreation I - Camp Counselor
Applicants should have prior experience working with children between the ages 3 and 12 yrs.  Staff will be required to attend a week long training before camp begins, as well as participate in day-to-day activities, including, but not limited, to crafts, outdoor activities, gym games, field trips, swim time, and more.  Applicants should note that staff hours will range from 20-30 per week, Monday through Friday from May 29 - August 10.  Early morning, day, and early evening shifts can fluctuate as well.  

Recreation I - Stay N' Play
Applicants should have prior experience working with children between the ages of 3 months through 12 years.  Structure for children is based on open play environment.  No bottle feeding or diaper changing included in staff responsibilities.  Staff hours will range from 10-20 per week.  Morning and evening shifts available. 

Recreation I - Fitness Attendant 
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean environment within the RiverChase fitness area.  Other responsibilities include materials, washing fitness towels, helping customers with fitness equipment, and wiping down machines regular.  Must possess general knowledge of fitness equipment.  

Recreation I - Gymnastics Instructor
Requires having taken gymnastics long enough to ensure you have enough experience to comfortably demonstrate stunts/skills on the floor, vault, beams and bars so participants can visualize what they are learning.  Must understand proper safety protocol in gymnastics when it comes to spotting, safety on equipment, and with skills the participants are learning.  Will interact/get to know participants and be able to determine ability to move up in class levels.  At times, responsible for leading class sessions, and will at times have to interact with parents.  Must present yourself in a professional manner.  Classes are Wednesday evenings only.  

Recreation I - Swim Lesson Instructor
To plan and deliver quality swim lessons in a safe, fun and effective manner.  Knowledge and understanding of all swimming/water safety recommended and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants in classes at all times. 

Recreation IV - Group Cycling Instructor 
Responsible for keeping class participants motivated and excited about cycling in a safe and friendly environment.  Duties include checking class rosters, cleaning equipment, and checking that equipment is in proper working order.
