City Administrator

City of Fenton, MO (4,022 population) is seeking applicants from qualified persons for the position of City Administrator, who serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the City.  Fenton is a 4th class City in St. Louis County with an annual budget of $19 million and approximately 40 full time employees.  Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or related field, however a Master’s degree is preferred.  Applicants should have at least five years of experience in a municipal government, with two years practical experience in the field of Public Administration.  Applicants must also have a proven record of strong interpersonal skills, financial planning, contract compliance, and human resources.   Salary to be determined based on qualifications and experience.  Interested applicants should send a resume, cover letter and references, along with a salary history to: City of Fenton, Missouri, Attn: Morgan Kuepfert, 625 New Smizer Mill Road, Fenton, MO 63026, or by email to mkuepfert@fentonmo.org.  Applications will be accepted until Friday, July 12, 2019 by close of business.

Assistant Court Clerk

The City of Fenton is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Court Clerk.  This is a clerical position for the Municipal Court. Work involves the performance of a variety of clerical functions, including but not limited to keyboard entry, copying correspondence, and processing of traffic tickets. Position requires use of computer. Job responsibilities will be defined by the Municipal Court Clerk. Position will assume responsibilities of court office in the absence of the Municipal Court Clerk. Public Works

Building/Grounds Maintenance Worker

Performs manual routine work in all phases of building cleaning operations including vacuuming, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, replacing cleaning and custodial supplies, cleaning windows and doors (inside and outside), removing snow, occasionally landscaping, replacing light bulbs, painting interior and exterior surfaces, and other building maintenance activities as required. Receives daily functional supervision from Building/Grounds Technician; receives administrative supervision from Building Operations Supervisor.

Pay Scale:
$15.08(Entry) - $18.58(Mid) - $22.09(Max)

Maintenance Worker I

Responsible for performing semi-skilled maintenance and construction of City infrastructure, recreational facilities, park grounds, buildings, vehicles, equipment, and related items. Assists skilled Maintenance Workers in infrastructure repairs, replacement of concrete, asphalt, storm line and drainage systems, signage, and traffic signals and markings. Receives daily functional supervision from skilled Maintenance Workers; receives administrative supervision from the Director of Public Works and/or designee.
Pay Scale:
$15.08(Entry) - $18.58(Mid) - $22.09(Max) 

Parks and Recreation

Personal Trainer

Flexible hours, requires day and night availability. At least one year of experience preferred. Must have certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM or another national certification). Starting pay is $25 per hour.

SilverSneakers Instructor

Must be able to work mornings. Must be certified through SilverSneakers or willing to get certification within six months of hire date if already have another certification. Starting pay is $20 per hour.

Yoga Instructor

Must be willing to teach classes in the evenings. At least one year of experience preferred. Must be certified in yoga. Starting pay is $20 per hour.

Swim Lesson Instructor

Now hiring swim instructors for 2019, must have prior swimming experience. Saturday Mornings 9:15 to 11:15 am starting at $10.06 per hour


Now hiring for men's and co-ed softball umpired for the 2019 season. All leagues will be using USSSA rules as the basis for play. Games are played Monday through Friday and Sunday. Pay range is $18.80 to $26.33 per hour.

Group Exercise Instructor

Individual must be certified (ACE, AFAA, ISSA, etc.) to teach a variety of morning and evening classes. The position starts at $20.00 per hour.
