Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Performs daily accounting functions including accounts receivable, cash receipts and will also provide administrative support and assistance. Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.  At least three (3) years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Public Works

Maintenance Worker I

This position will perform maintenance and construction of City infrastructure, recreational facilities, park grounds, and buildings.  Other duties include, but are not limited to, repairs on City streets, curbs, sidewalks, parking lots, drainage systems including culverts and ditches, park grounds, operating light to heavy equipment and tree trimming, and brush removal, grass and trimming.

Recreation Associate 1 - Swim Coach - RiverChase

Performs duties as assigned under the direction of the Recreation Associate III - Head Swim Coach. This position is responsible for teaching, coordinating, and carrying out daily activities set by Head Swim Coach.

Recreation Associate I - Concession Stand Attendant

The City of Fenton is accepting applications for a Rec. I - Concession Stand Attendant for the 2022 season. The position works approximately 20-25 hours per week. The varied work schedule will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Performs duties as assigned under the direction of the Director or Recreation Supervisor or Manager on Duty or Concession Stand Manager, as assigned.  This position is responsible for daily duties at the City’s concession stands, including customer service, food preparation, and financial transactions. 

Must be able to obtain and retain a Basic First Aid and CPR/AED certification. Experience in cash handling is preferred. Individuals hired for this position must pass a drug test and a background check.

Recreation Associate II - Park Concession Stand Attendant

The City of Fenton is accepting applications for a Rec. II – Park Concession Stand Attendant for the 2022 season. The position works approximately 20-25 hours per week. The varied work schedule will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

Performs duties as assigned under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor- Adult and Youth Sports/Rentals or Park Concession Stand Manager, as assigned. This position is responsible for daily duties at the Fenton City Park and/or Fenton Sports Complex, including customer service, food preparation, and financial transactions. 

Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and able to complete SMART Server Training. Must be able to obtain and retain a Basic First Aid and CPR/AED certification. Experience in cash handling is preferred. Individuals hired for this position must pass a drug test and a background check.

Recreation Associate 3 - Park Concession Stand Manager

The City of Fenton is accepting applications for a Rec. III – Park Concession Stand Manager for the 2022 season.  This position is responsible for assisting with the overall supervision of the concession stands at Fenton City Park and/or Fenton Sports Complex, as assigned.  Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and able to complete SMART Server Training.  Individuals hired for this position must pass a drug test and a background check. 

Recreation Supervisor - Youth & Adult Sports and Rentals

Assists the Director in the oversight, implementation, and operation of Fenton programs, specifically Youth and Adult Sports and Rentals. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all athletic facilities at the Fenton City Park, Fenton Sports Complex, and rentals within the Parks and Recreation Department, including but not limited to hiring staff, coordinating the daily maintenance operations of all athletic playing fields and rentals, and planning, promoting, implementing, and supervising the youth and adult sports programs. Assists with other programs/events throughout the Parks and Recreation Department at the request of the Director.
