Municipal Division

Assistant Court Clerk

The City of Fenton is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Court Clerk.  This is a clerical position for the Municipal Court. Work involves the performance of a variety of clerical functions, including but not limited to keyboard entry, copying correspondence, and processing of traffic tickets. Position requires use of computer. Job responsibilities will be defined by the Municipal Court Clerk. Position will assume responsibilities of court office in the absence of the Municipal Court Clerk. Responsibilities include contact with public on a frequent basis.  Knowledge of the Rejis Court System is a must, and certification is highly desired.  Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume and professional references to Jane Hungler, City Clerk, 625 New Smizer Mill Road, Fenton, Missouri 63026 or by email to jhungler@fentonmo.org.  Salary range is $31,373 - $45,953.  Starting salary to be determined based on qualifications.  Resumes must be submitted no later than Friday, February 14, 2020.

Parks and Recreation

Summer Camp Counselor

Must have prior experience working with children. Position runs from last week in May to the first week in August, Monday-Friday. Shift hours vary between the times of 7a and 5:30p. Applicants must be able to work 8 out of 10 weeks of the summer camp program.

Farmers’ Market Assistant Manager

The Olde Towne Fenton Farmers Market is a community-based market supporting local farmers and serves as an accessible outlet to purchase a diverse selection of fresh, high quality produce. The market is located in the Olde Towne Fenton Pavilion at 200 Gravois Rd in Olde Towne Fenton, and operates every Saturday from 8:00-1:00 p.m. (May-October). The pavilion has capacity for 16 vendors. Over 200 customers attend the market each weekend. The market also has special events and live music throughout the season.  The Farmers Market Assistant Manager will perform duties as assigned under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor (Farmers Market Manager). The assistant will attend each weekly market on Saturday from 7:00-1:00 p.m. The assistant will be responsible for opening and closing the market and being on site during market hours. The assistant will be responsible for checking in all vendors and making sure all vendors abide by rules of Olde Towne Fenton Farmers Market. Some demonstrable familiarity and interest in gardening, farming and event coordination is a plus.

Front Desk Associate (Seasonal & Year Round)

Responsible for assisting members and guests with front desk check-in, program review, registrations, and enrolling guests as members. Answers incoming phone calls, directs customer throughout facility. Staff use cash register, and registration software. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must, as well as computer skills. Morning/Daytime/Evening shift hours available for seasonal position. Year round hours will mainly be limited to evenings. Staff must be available to work at least 1-2 weekend shifts a month for both seasonal and year round.

Stay ’N’ Play Worker - Mornings

Applicants should have prior experience working with children between the ages of 3mos and 12 yrs. Structure for children is based on open play environment. No bottle feeding or diaper changing included in staff responsibilities. Must be available Monday-Friday 8am-12pm. Starting at $10.06 per hour.

Personal Trainer

Flexible hours, requires day and night availability. At least one year of experience preferred. Must have certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM or another national certification).

Swim Lesson Instructor

Now hiring swim instructors for 2019, must have prior swimming experience. Saturday Mornings 9:15 to 11:15 am starting at $10.06 per hour

Group Exercise/Group Cycling Instructor

Individual must be certified (ACE, AFAA, ISSA, etc.) to teach a variety of morning and evening classes.
